- The Arrow Amble Android game and messages you send for help with this game.
01. Who operates the game
Anshu Kapoor is the individual developer publishing Arrow Amble under the name Kapoor Labs. Kapoor Labs is a publishing brand, not a separate registered company. In this policy, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Anshu Kapoor.
Arrow Amble does not ask you to create a player account or provide your name, email address or password to play. This does not mean that no data is processed: the advertising and reporting services described below handle technical information.
02. Your progress & device backup
The game stores progress, stars, postcards, the current puzzle, hints, reward records and preferences in the app’s storage on your device. Local records also support reminders, review timing and ad pacing. These records let the game save and resume your journey. We do not operate a cloud-save service or upload complete game-save files to a developer-owned server.
Campaign puzzles work offline. Ads and consent messages need internet. Enabled reporting can store events or reports locally and send them when a connection becomes available.
Android may back up eligible progress and preference data or transfer it to another device, depending on your device and backup settings. Uninstalling removes the app’s local files, but a separate device-managed backup may remain. An existing compatible backup may restore some progress when you reinstall or transfer devices; recovery is not guaranteed and may restore an older save.
Backup copies are managed through Android and your device or backup provider. We do not receive your Google account credentials or control those backup copies.
03. Advertising & ad choices
We use Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform to provide ads and applicable consent or privacy-choice messages. AdMob and eligible advertising partners may collect and share device or account identifiers, IP addresses, app interactions, ad activity and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. An IP address may indicate a general location. The exact processing depends on the user’s choices, age treatment, region, device settings and the ad configuration.
Rewarded offers are optional and explain the benefit before an ad is shown. The game can offer two extra hearts or two hints when the ad’s reward is earned. Restarting a puzzle remains free. Interstitial ads may appear between completed levels. An internet connection does not guarantee that an ad is available.
Where applicable, the game presents a consent message and provides Manage ad privacy choices in Settings. You can also use Android’s advertising controls. Declining optional ad personalization does not remove access to offline puzzles.
For provider information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information.
04. Usage statistics & crash reports
Google Analytics for Firebase
When enabled and permitted by the applicable consent settings, Analytics helps us understand where players spend time or leave a puzzle. Events can describe screen visits, level and place numbers, arrow counts, mistakes, hints, restarts, completions, optional continuations and foreground play duration. The service also processes technical app and device information and uses its own app-instance or installation identifiers.
Firebase Crashlytics
Crashlytics helps investigate crashes, freezes and errors. Reports can include stack traces, app and device information, installation identifiers, and game context such as the screen, level, remaining arrows, mistakes or hints used. We do not attach your complete save file, name, email address or a custom player identity to these reports.
Your controls
You can turn Usage statistics and Crash reports off in the game’s Settings. Analytics collection is subject to its saved preference and consent checks. Crash reporting uses its separate saved preference. Switching reporting off prevents subsequent collection according to the SDK’s operation; it does not erase information already sent to Google. Turning off usage reporting also resets the game’s local Analytics data.
See Privacy and Security in Firebase for Google’s service-specific handling and retention information.
05. Reminders & Google Play reviews
Journey reminders are optional. If enabled with notification permission, they are scheduled on your device using local activity and reminder settings. They work without internet and can be turned off in the game or Android’s notification settings. Uninstalling removes the app’s reminder schedule.
The game may request Google Play’s standard in-app review flow after progress in the journey. Google decides whether to display it and handles any review you submit. Reviewing is optional, gives no game reward and does not affect puzzle access. The game does not receive your rating or know whether you submitted a review.
We check Android’s connectivity status to decide whether an ad can be requested. The game does not need contacts, microphone, camera or precise-location permission for puzzle play.
06. Arrow Amble support messages
If you email us about Arrow Amble at kapoorlabs@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your question, investigate the issue and manage any related privacy request. The mailbox is hosted by Google’s Gmail service.
Include only what is needed to explain the problem. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, payment details or identity documents with a routine support message. Parents or guardians can contact us on behalf of a child.
07. Retention & deletion
- Local game data: stays on your device until reset, app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled, subject to device-managed backups. Start a fresh journal resets campaign progress, stars, postcards, hints and the current board; it does not erase advertising consent settings or provider-held records.
- Backups: follow your Android or backup provider’s retention and deletion settings. Manage them separately from the app.
- Crash reports: Google states that Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems.
- Support messages: are kept as needed to respond to and resolve a request, follow up on an ongoing issue, or meet an applicable legal obligation. You may request deletion by email.
- Advertising and Analytics records: are handled under the providers’ applicable retention settings and policies. Resetting a puzzle or uninstalling the app does not delete those records.
Analytics event and user-level records are retained according to the property’s retention settings; aggregated reports may be kept longer. Advertising records follow Google’s applicable service retention policies. For information about provider-held records and available controls, see Google’s data retention explanation and Google’s advertising privacy controls. You can also contact us about access or deletion. We will explain what records we can identify and what action is available; an email address alone may not identify a pseudonymous app installation.
08. Intended audience & younger users
Arrow Amble is intended for teenagers and adults aged 13 and above. It is not intended for children under 13. A content age rating describes the suitability of the game’s content and does not change this intended audience.
Privacy and consent requirements for teenagers vary by location. Where parental permission is required, a parent or guardian should be involved before optional personal-data processing. Merely installing the game from Google Play does not provide us with a verified date of birth.
We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game or support, contact kapoorlabs@gmail.com. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, including stopping the relevant processing and arranging deletion where required and possible. Parents and guardians may contact us on a younger user’s behalf; send only the details needed to explain the issue.
09. Your privacy choices & requests
You can play campaign puzzles offline, decline optional rewarded offers, change available ad choices, disable reporting or reminders, reset local progress, and manage Android’s advertising and backup settings. These controls have different purposes; changing one does not automatically change the others.
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, restrict or object to processing, or complain to the relevant privacy authority. Where applicable, US state privacy rights may include choices about data used for targeted advertising. Use the game’s available privacy controls or email us for assistance.
Where consent is required, it must be obtained before the relevant optional processing. Support and security information is used as needed to respond to requests and maintain the service, under the legal basis applicable to those purposes. When responding to a privacy request, we may need limited information to identify relevant records and verify that you may make the request. We do not require a player account. Some provider-held information may not be identifiable to us from an email address alone.
10. Security, recipients & international processing
Local saves use Android’s app storage. The Google SDKs described here use encrypted connections for their data transfers. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Information is handled by Anshu Kapoor and the service providers described in this policy: Google’s advertising services and eligible ad partners, Firebase, Android/device backup providers and Gmail, according to the feature you use. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to address fraud, security or a legal claim.
Providers may process data in countries other than yours. Google’s applicable service terms and privacy documentation describe its processing locations and international transfer protections. This policy does not claim that all data stays in India or on your phone.
11. Changes & how to reach us
We will update this policy when the game or our data practices change. The published version will show its effective date. If an update requires renewed consent or another notice, we will provide it through an appropriate channel.
